Shoes!

I keep telling myself that I don't need anything, because I don't. Ever since the great move of '09 I am obsessed with getting rid of stuff and losing attachment to the things I have so I can get rid of more stuff. Unfortunately, ***NEWS FLASH*** I have this problem with shoes.

I already bought myself a present and now I want these. Just look at how tootie they are! I would wear them with skinny jeans so I could totally show them off. It is my belief that shoes can carry an outfit. Shoes and maybe a stellar pair of earrings and a clutch. A cute boy at your side doesn't hurt either. ;)

School project

This is part of my self-promo packaging project for school this quarter. You'll notice the similarities to my business cards, too. My concept is good. clean. design. so naturally I went with soap. Get it? Not just any soap, no sirree bob, I went with Sweet Petula soap. I forgot to take pictures of the giant sponge I used, which had a little door that opened into a compartment that contained little postcard-sized samples of my work.

My holiday wish list

Dear Santa,

I've been really good this year and I think I deserve a treat or three. We don't exchange presents in my family any more so this is your big opportunity to make a huge difference in my overall holiday disposition, thus improving the world as a whole.

Some of these items will require a trip downtown, which is awesome because you can find an eggnog latte on every corner AND I hear it's snowing inside Pacific Place - you'll feel right at home there.

I don't need a lot because I really don't have room. Just a few accessories that I know will get a lot of use:

This Anthropologie clutch is the cutest. It feels wrong to not own something ikat. Help a girl out, will ya?

And, oh, I don't know, maybe this rockin' piece of bling. It's handmade and it's not even expensive. I feel like I'm doing YOU a favor.
